What is considered “Black Tie Optional” attire?

Details on “Black Tie Optional” attire can be found here: https://www.theknot.com/content/what-to-wear-formal-black-tie-optional-black-tie-invited

Can I bring a guest?

While we would love to accommodate our typical “more the merrier” attitude, we have maximized capacity and ask you refrain from adding persons beyond those listed in your invitation. Thank you for your understanding!

Are children welcome?

For the safety of the little ones and merriment of their parents, we have decided that our wedding will be an adults-only occasion. Thank you for your understanding!

Where should I stay?

We have blocked rooms at AC Marriott Hotel and Hampton Inn & Suites nearby for the convenience of our guests from out of town, but please feel free to consider other nearby hotels. More details can be found in the Travel section of the website.

I am not Catholic. Can I go to the ceremony? What should I expect?

Yes you can go! We are so pleased to welcome you to our celebration of the Nuptial Mass. If you were not raised in the Catholic Church (or have not been in a while and need a refresher), our ceremony program will include full details for you to follow along with the flow; including when to stand, sit, and kneel. We appreciate that the Catholic mass can be daunting/confusing and we want you to feel as comfortable as possible. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
